Hibernian forward Steven Fletcher celebrated his 21st birthday by winning his first full Scotland cap in the 1-1 friendly draw with Croatia at Hampden on Wednesday.

The in-form attacker played the first half of the match, which saw Kenny Miller cancel out Niko Kranjcar’s early opener in George Burley’s first game in charge.

Meanwhile, Rangers striker Steven Naismith was on target to help the Scotland U21 side beat Finland 2-1 in an important UEFA qualifier at Pittodrie.
