Zlatan Ibrahimovic was ruled out of Wednesday’s friendly against Brazil because of a knee injury.

The Inter Milan striker will be replaced by Sunderland’s Rade Prica.

“We agreed that it’s best for him to take the chance to get some rehab,” Sweden coach Lars Lagerback said Sunday. “He’s played a number of matches now on pain killers.”

Fullback Erik Edman is also sidelined with a knee injury and will be replaced by Mikael Dorsin.

The friendly will be played at Emirates Stadium in London.
