Valencia star David Villa has alerted clubs across Europe by revealing he will consider his future at the end of the season.

The Spanish international is one of the most sought-after players in Europe following his goalscoring exploits for club and country over the last few years.

Villa is believed to be considering his future at La Mestalla after growing disillusioned with their poor form this season.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have been linked with Villa in the past and there is sure to be no shortage of offers if the player does decide to move at the end of the season.

He said: “I have always listened when there have been offers and I am still determined to do what is best for my career, but of course with the consent of the club as I have a contract.

“I have to think about my future and that is what I am going to do.

“I will listen to anything, like I always have.”
