Substitute duo Ludovic Giuly and Mirko Vucinic struck two late goals to stun AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico

A thrilling second half ensured the Serie A title race remains alive as Roma came from a goal down to beat AC Milan 2-1 at the Olimpico.

A team first half saw Roma dominate play but neither side create many opportunities but a Rossoneri resurgence after the break looked set to give Milan their ninth away win of the season.

Kaká struck in the 57th minute but just as Roma looked down and out Spalletti made two substitutions that turned the match on its head.

Ludovic Giuly and Mirko Vucinic netted within three minutes of each other to give Roma a league double over Milan and cut the deficit to leaders Inter to just three points.
