Kalac to be AC Milan No:1

Zeljko Kalac has played his way into being AC Milan’s long-term No1 goalkeeper.

Gazzetta dello Sport says the veteran Australian has won over Milan’s football staff, with buyers now being sought for keeper rival Nelson Dida.

Rossoneri chiefs are ready to go with Kalac as their outright No1 next season and will bring in a young keeper to be groomed as his eventual successor. Hugo Lloris (Nice), Diego Alves (Almeria) and Ivan Pelizzoli (Lokomotiv Moscow) are all on Milan’s shopping list.
