Beckham lands galaxy glory

MANCHESTER UNITED may be chasing another Treble but their former star David Beckham has already got his hands on a trophy!

OK, it wasn’t the Champions League, Premier League or FA Cup — and LA Galaxy are paying Becks £25million a year for this sort of moment.

But a tiny part of that investment was repaid when the Yanks were handed a trophy for beating Shanghai-Hong Kong United in Shanghai.

Becks set up a goal in the 3-0 win but went off in the 70th minute with a thigh injury.

He said: “It’s nothing serious. I came off as a precaution because the leg was stiffening up.”

I like Beckham and his family.
They should be very good friends to the people of their age.
