Chelsea’s Ballack wanted by Klinsmann at Bayern Munich

Michael Ballack is weighing up his future at Chelsea.

The People says Ballack is considering his Chelsea future after his Carling Cup Final snub by Avram Grant.

The German midfielder was convinced he would start last Sunday but feels Frank Lampard ‘talked his way’ into Chelsea’s starting line-up in his place.

It is believed boss Grant had wanted Lampard and skipper John Terry to delay their returns from injury until after the Final.

But both England stars convinced the Israeli they were fit and wanted to play. Sources in Germany now suggest Ballack, 31, could be lined up for a move back to his homeland, with his former national boss Jurgen Klinsmann to take over at his old club Bayern Munich in the summer, while ambitious Wolfsburg could be another option.
