Kranjcar seeks Euro spot

Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar says the side are determined to qualify for Europe this season.

Pompey just missed out on a Uefa Cup spot last term and Harry Redknapp has challeneged his players to round off a successful season with a place in Europe.
Kranjcar believes Portsmouth are well placed to claim a top-six finish and is hopeful they can get a win at Everton this weekend.
Target
“After Everton we have six home games left - and we have already played the big four,” Kranjcar told The Mirror. “Everton is not going to be a decisive game but if we can get a win it will be a massive boost for us.
“Every player who signed for Pompey wants to achieve something. We have players who are used to playing in Europe and they want to bring European football to Portsmouth.
“In the League you never know what will happen. But if we have a run of wins it will be possible to get into Europe.”
