Feyenoord held in six-goal thriller at Almelo

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (Reuters) - Feyenoord moved up to second place despite being held to a 3-3 draw by strugglers Heracles Almelo in a thrilling Dutch league on Saturday.

All the goals came in the first hour of a see-saw match with Brazilian Everton scoring for Almelo in the first minute with a header before Andre Bahia equalised 16 minutes later.
Srdan Lakic restored the home side’s lead from close range after 22 minutes before Denny Landzaat brought the visitors level again just past the half-hour mark.
Nick Hofs converted a rebound soon after the break to give Feyenoord the lead for the first time but Lakic converted a penalty minutes later to level the scores again.
With nine matches left PSV Eindhoven, who host Graafschap Doetinchem on Sunday, are top with 56 points, eight more than Feyenoord.
Ajax Amsterdam and NAC Breda, third and fourth respectively with 47 points, meet in Breda.
Roda JC Kerkrade remained seventh with 41 points following a 1-1 draw at Vitesse Arnhem, who were ahead midway through the second half with Theo Janssen on target before Jan-Paul Saeijs salvaged a point three minutes before time.
AZ Alkmaar and Twente Enschede also shared the points in a goalless draw, as did bottom side Willem II Tilburg against 10-man Excelsior Rotterdam who had Sebastian Pardo sent off in the 66th minute for hitting an opponent.
