Bilic thoughts with Arsenal’s Eduardo

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic’s thoughts are with Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva after his horrific leg break yesterday.

“I will talk later with [Gunners first-team coach] Boro Primorac,” explained Bilic. “And he will tell me what is going on with Eduardo. But from what I saw, I can just say ‘My Lord’. Terrible and horrible. I was talking with some English journalists and they told me that Alan Smith suffered a similar injury but he did come back. I just hope that Eduardo will return to football. That is the most important thing at the moment. Euro 2008 is not as important as his health. Now everything is in the hands of the doctors. I just hope that the news after the operation will be good.”
